A reference to a record, given by the register that holds it and the record's identifier within that register. It may also state which subject the record describes. It identifies a record in the way an Identifier identifies a subject, and a record identifier is not a subject identifier.

Properties

Property Type Definition
Register URI uri
The persistent URI of the register that holds the record and gives meaning to its local identifier. It reveals which register a subject appears in.
Record ID string
The identifier of the record within its register, exactly as the register issues it, including any leading zeros.
Subject URI uri The URI of the thing this record or statement is about.
Subject type uri The URI of the class that the subject is expected to belong to.
