Authorized water quantity

A maximum amount of water the authorization allows to be taken, stated as a rate whose unit carries the period, such as cubic metres per day (m3/d) or per year (m3/a). Several limits can apply together, such as a daily and an annual maximum. It is not a measurement of water actually taken.
