A typed dimension that disaggregates a metric. References a code list, which may be a PublicSchema vocabulary or an external SDMX agency codelist. PublicSchema vocabularies are canonical; the SDMX emitter wraps them for downstream consumers.

Description	`string`	A free-text summary describing the event, situation, or record.
Concept URI	`uri`	The skos:Concept URI this metric, dimension, or attribute realises. Multiple metrics may share a single concept_uri when they measure the same underlying notion through different operationalisations.
Value range	`string`	The LinkML range or external code list URI that constrains the values of a dimension or attribute. Named 'value_range' rather than 'range' to avoid shadowing the LinkML keyword.
Code list URI	`uri`	The canonical URI of the code list that supplies permissible values for this dimension or attribute. May be a PublicSchema vocabulary URI or an SDMX agency codelist URN (e.g., urn:sdmx:org.sdmx.infomodel.codelist.Codelist=SDMX:CL_AREA(2.1)).
Is required	`boolean`	Whether this dimension or attribute is required on every observation.
Ordering	`integer`	The integer position of this dimension within the DSD. Drives column order on SDMX-CSV emission and the dimension order on observation records.

MetricDimension wraps SDMX cross-domain concepts (REF_AREA, SEX, AGE, TIME_PERIOD, FREQ, UNIT_MEASURE) plus PublicSchema vocabularies (urban_rural, wealth_quintile, program_type, benefit_modality). The class itself is a catalogue type aligned to qb:DimensionProperty and SDMX 3.0 Dimension; convergence evidence accrues to the dimension instances PublicSchema ships, not to the class.
