Record Change Kind

The kind of change to the standing of a register record, following the register item actions of ISO 19135. These codes describe the record's standing; they do not decide whether a record is deleted or how long it is kept, which follow applicable law.

retirement | Retirement | The record is no longer suitable for use in new data but remains in the register. | |
supersession | Supersession | The record was retired and replaced by one or more new records. |
