Parental Role

The role-nature of the parent relationship in the context of a vital event. Describes how parentage arose (biological, gestational, legal, adoptive) independently of the parent's gender. Gender of the parent is modeled via Person.sex; a jurisdiction-specific label for the printed certificate is carried on certificate_label.
