Evidence

Not yet found in mapped delivery systems.

WaterPoint is newly introduced in PublicSchema as a signal of cross-sector extensibility for the ServicePoint hierarchy. No direct WaterPoint concept has been mapped in the six v1 convergence systems. WHO/UNICEF JMP facility assessment data and WASH-cluster service-delivery-point registries are the natural candidates for a future convergence pass.

Standard Equivalent Match
schema.org Place broad
schema.org has no specific water point or water facility type. The closest is schema.org Place (a broad geometric entity). PublicSchema WaterPoint is a functional operational concept carrying service-level and source-type semantics from the JMP monitoring framework.
